If you work with AFAS Software and want to integrate AFAS, you may have heard of GET and UPDATE connectors. GET and UPDATE connectors are an AFAS-specific way to connect AFAS Software with other systems. But what exactly are GET connectors and UPDATE connectors?
GET Connector
The AFAS GET connector is a type of integration that retrieves data from AFAS and shares it with other applications. We use these GET connectors, for example, in the integration with PostNL to retrieve data to generate shipping labels. We also retrieve product data for our e-commerce and CRM integrations from AFAS via a GET Connector.
UPDATE connector
An external application can also add, modify, or delete data in AFAS Profit. For this, we use the UPDATE connectors from AFAS. Examples include writing new employees, leave hours, absenteeism, etc. This keeps your data always current and of high quality.
Setting up AFAS connectors
We can set up AFAS connectors for you through our AFAS Consultants, but you can also do this yourself. Since we have built an AFAS integration layer in the KoppelHet platform, adding new AFAS connectors to the KoppelHet platform is super easy.
