How to start with Joinly
You begin on your own in a free trial environment. If you want to continue, we connect your own systems together and you go live. This page explains what happens in each step and what you can prepare.

Steps 1 and 2
Look around on your own first
You do not need an appointment to see how Joinly works.
Start your trial environment
Enter your organisation, website and work email address. You get your own environment with demo data and an example integration with AFAS. Other HR systems work the same way.

A tour inside the product shows how a new employee joins, changes role and leaves. The trial environment is separate from your own systems.
Step 3
Connect your own systems
If you want to continue with Joinly, we connect your own systems together: your HR system as the source and Microsoft Entra ID or Active Directory as the target. Your HR system says who works for you, in which role and from when. Joinly turns that into accounts, groups and licences.
After connecting, you look on first. Joinly then changes nothing in Entra ID or Active Directory yet, so you can check first that the data and the access are right.
What you can prepare
- Which HR system you use, and who is allowed to switch on the integration there.
- An administrator for Microsoft Entra ID or Active Directory.
- If you run Active Directory on premises, you install the Joinly AD Agent in your own network.
- A first idea of which role gets which access. It does not have to be complete: most organisations start with joiners, movers and leavers and add roles later.
Step 4
Go live
Once everything checks out, Joinly goes live. From then on Joinly handles joiners, movers and leavers automatically from your HR system, and every change is in the audit log.
You choose Core or Flow and pay per account per month. You can move from Core to Flow later; your setup and integrations stay as they are. Support with the implementation depends on your situation, and we agree it together.
After that
- Extend step by step, for example with roles, workflows or integrations with other applications.
- Your identities and your setup stay yours. You can export your data at any time.
