
How to install the IAM connectors from Joinly in your AFAS environment

Use this guide to install step-by-step the AFAS connectors required for the Identity & Access Management (IAM) integration via Joinly. After installation, Joinly can automatically sync and write back employee data from AFAS.
1. Preparation
Request the connector files via support@joinly.app.
Ensure you have administrative rights in AFAS Profit.
2. Installation of GET connectors
Log into the AFAS Profit Management Environment.
Go to General → Management → App connectors.
Create a new App connector or open the existing IAM connector.
Click Import and select the two .gcn files.
Check the connector rights and save the changes.
3. Installation of UPDATE connectors
For writing back data:
In the same App connector, add the update connectors knPerson and knUser.
Grant both the correct write rights.
Test the connection with a trial update.
4. Generate Token and Environment ID
Generate a token in AFAS Profit.
Note the Environment ID (located in the Profit environment).
These two values are necessary for activation in KoppelHet.
5. Set up the AFAS integration in the Joinly Platform
Go to your AFAS integration in the Joinly platform and enter your AFAS Token and environment identifier under login credentials:

The integration accesses and/or writes back the fields below. You can disable fields for data minimisation via General → GetConnectors → [Connector] → Edit → Data → Visible.
